Holiday Card Workshop 2013 - Day 1
Hello my fellow crafters, I am taking part in the Holiday Card Workshop 2013. It began yesterday and day 1 was fantastic, love all the great design ideas and tips and tricks I learned from these ladies. I want to share my "homework" :) the first is a design by Kristina Werner. A dry embossing technique with a flat spot for stamping a sentiment with a great little pocket on the inside for a gift card.

Make a wish
Hi and thanks for stopping in, this is a birthday card I made for a very special friend. The flowers and leaves were cut using CC Designs dies from paper I watercolored using distress inks. I also used the dies on the background paper to create an inlay design. The stamps are from Stamps of Life, and the sequins are from my stash. I hope it inspires you to create something of your own today.

Hollyhocks
Hi, today I want to share some cards I made using Distress Ink spritzed with water to create a watercolor effect. The stamp is Hollyhock from Impression Obsession. I made the background paper using the same colors as the flowers, both done on watercolor paper. I died some hemp cord with Distress Ink to match the stalks and used a Copic Marker to color the gems to match the green as well. The butterfly was diecut with an Impression Obsession die and covered with Stickles glitter glue. Lately I can't get enough of this watercolor technique, hope you like it!

Namaste
Hello fellow bloggers, here is a card I made for a dear friend who loves to do yoga. I love this Bugaboo image, it's stamped on X-Press It paper and coloured with Copic markers and I did some paper piecing. The background paper is from the Candy Lane Collection by Kaisercraft. Thanks for having a look.
